THE SITUATION

THE SITUATION

THE SITUATION

Kidjuda Neal is a singer. Not a venture-backed founder with a product thesis and a cap table, a working creative who has lived, firsthand, what it feels like to be on the wrong end of how influencer marketing actually works.

Users often fall into “doomscrolling” endless passive consumption of content that offers little meaning or growth.

He's been in the rooms where brands make promises. He's seen what happens when payment is contingent on "approval," when deliverables are disputed after the work is done, when creators carry all the risk while brands hold all the money. He understood the problem not as a market observation but as a personal experience, and he decided to build the system that would have protected him.

ChainReach is that system. An escrow platform for creator campaigns, where brands lock funds before the campaign begins, AI verifies the deliverables in real time, and payment releases automatically when the work is confirmed. No chasing invoices. No disputed posts. No manual spreadsheets. No trust required, because the platform enforces it.

Kidjuda came to Persist with the brand identity, the concept, and the content already formed. The vision was clear. What he needed was a design partner who could build it at the speed the opportunity demanded, and stay in it for the long run.

The typical social feed is driven by engagement metrics rather than what’s actually healthy or fulfilling.

There is a need for an alternative experience: one that encourages reflection, learning, and intention rather than distraction.

THE PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM

Brands release payment only to find the post never goes live. Creators post on time only to spend weeks chasing an invoice. Campaign deliverables are disputed because there was never a shared, verifiable record of what was agreed. Metrics get inflated. Bots get purchased. Spreadsheets get cc'd to the wrong person. And through all of it, both sides — brands and creators — absorb risk that should never have existed in the first place.

The problems are well-known. The infrastructure to solve them didn't exist:

The problems are well-known. The infrastructure to solve them didn't exist:

→ Creators ghost after receiving payment, or chase brands for weeks waiting to receive it

→ Brands pay for inflated engagement, bot followers, and unverifiable deliverables

→ Campaign tracking lives in email threads and shared Google sheets

→ No platform creates shared accountability for milestones, approvals, and payouts in one place

ChainReach was built to make trust unnecessary, not by asking both sides to behave better, but by building a system where the right outcome is the only possible outcome.

THE APPROACH

THE APPROACH

THE APPROACH

A partnership, not a project.

A partnership, not a project.

A partnership, not a project.

This engagement doesn't have an end date. Persist and Kidjuda operate as a continuous design partnership, weekly calls, rolling deadlines, and a shared commitment to moving fast without compromising the product. When new requirements emerge, we design to them. When something needs to change, we change it. The relationship is structured the way good product development actually works.

Delivering to real deadlines, not arbitrary timelines.

Delivering to real deadlines, not arbitrary timelines.

From the beginning, ChainReach ran on a deadline-per-outcome model. The first pitch deck had to be ready in 7 days for an event. It was. Every phase that followed had its own target, landing page, creator dashboard, brand dashboard, admin panel, and each was delivered when it was needed. The discipline of real deadlines produces better design decisions than open-ended timelines. It forces clarity on what matters most right now.

Designing for both sides of trust simultaneously.

Designing for both sides of trust simultaneously.

Designing for both sides of trust simultaneously.

ChainReach has two distinct user audiences, brands and creators, and both need to feel that the platform was built for them specifically. That's a harder design problem than it sounds. The creator side needs to communicate security and certainty: your funds are locked before you start, your work will be verified fairly, you will be paid. The brand side needs to communicate control and confidence: you only pay for verified results, fraud is detected automatically, your campaign is trackable in one place.

The landing page, the creator dashboard, and the brand dashboard were each designed with their primary audience's psychology in mind, distinct enough to feel personal, unified enough to feel like one product.

The hardest problem: how do you get a brand to create a campaign without making them fill out a form?

The campaign creation flow was redesigned three times. This was the hardest design decision on the project, and the most important one to get right.

The breakthrough was a shift in the interaction model entirely. Instead of asking brands to manually enter campaign parameters, we moved to an AI-driven conversation flow. The brand chats with an AI that asks only the questions that are necessary, pulling context, filling in what it can infer, and building the campaign brief collaboratively rather than bureaucratically. The result is a campaign creation experience that feels like briefing a smart colleague, not filling out a tax form.

Three iterations to get there. Worth every one.

ChainReach is growing, new features, new phases, new requirements arriving continuously. The design work from the beginning was built with that in mind. Components, themes, and patterns that can extend without breaking. The pitch deck, the UI, the multiple visual themes, all of it is built to a consistent system so that as the product grows, the design grows with it coherently.

THE OUTCOME

THE OUTCOME

ChainReach is in its MVP phase, the product is built, the infrastructure is in place, and launch is imminent.

Users often fall into “doomscrolling” endless passive consumption of content that offers little meaning or growth.

What exists today is not a concept deck or a prototype. It is a fully designed platform: a landing page that communicates the value proposition with precision, a creator-side dashboard that makes payment security feel effortless, a brand-side dashboard that puts campaign control in one place, and an admin panel that manages everything underneath. A pitch deck that got into rooms within 7 days of being commissioned. Multiple themes ready for deployment.

The partnership continues. Every week brings new challenges, new phases, new requirements, new problems to solve. The design response is the same each time: understand it, move fast, deliver well.

A creator who understood the problem from the inside is now building the system that fixes it from the outside. Persist is building it with him.
